The Town of Beekman proudly introduces the “Hometown Heroes” Banner Program.   The Town of Beekman proudly offers the “Hometown Heroes” Banner Program.  This program proudly recognizes active duty and veteran service members, both living and deceased, from the Beekman area. This program started in 2018 and has grown in the past few years.  Currently, banners are placed on State Route 55, Main Street, Church Street, Beekman-Poughquag Road and Recreation Road.  There will be a limited number of banner locations.  Placement will be at the discretion of the Town of Beekman Hometown Heroes Committee; no requests can be made.  These banners will be ­­­­24” wide by 48” high and will include the option of including the donor’s name. The banners will be on display each year from spring through fall and the Town of Beekman will place and maintain the banners while they are on display.  The Town of Beekman is not responsible for replacing banners that are stolen, damaged, or destroyed due to vandalism or acts of nature.  Any loss or damage to an installed banner will be handled at the discretion of the Town.  The Town of Beekman reserves the right to use all banner images in future promotions.  Banners may be sponsored by individuals for $180 per banner.
