Disaster & Emergency Preparedness Committee
Mission Statement:
Our residents count on their local governments in the event of an emergency. Our performance during a time of crisis can save lives and thousands of dollars in property damage. It is important to adapt emergency and disaster relief plans as our community continues to grow. This means that the plan must carefully layout protocol as our town changes so that our community is prepared no matter what the situation may be. The committee will analyze and compare past plans with those of neighboring communities in order to properly develop new protocol, procedures, and plans. The committee will recommend updates to our Town’s Disaster and Emergency Response Plan for ultimate adoption by the Town Board.
